With MTA\u2019s scholarship, he first studied in France, after U.S.A. and graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a master degree in mining and geology fields.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Due to the conditions of the World War 2, he couldn\u2019t return to his country immediately and therefore worked in a geophysics Company in Dallas, Texas as a petroleum research engineer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After returning to Turkey in 1944, he worked at MTA (Mineral Research and Exploration) for 2 years and then he started his own Company in Istanbul and made consultancy to various companies about mining and engineering.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hamdi Bozbag, who aimed to make the <\/span><b>firsts<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Turkey in Mining, orderly:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Made the <\/span><b>first<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Barite production in Turkey.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He investigated and explored the Celestite (SrSO<sub>4<\/sub>, Strontium Salt) reserve in Sivas and opened the Turkey\u2019s <\/span><b>first and only<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Celestite mine with also making the benefication facility operational together.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He established Turkey\u2019s <\/span><b>first<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Natural Carbon Dioxide Liquidization Facility by adding Carbon Dioxide to the mining subject as <\/span><b>first<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> again.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He made business with micronized Talc, micronized Calcite, micronized Barite, Gypsum as Celestite\u2019s side product, Lead-Zinc, and Marble.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For these values he has contributed to Turkey with a great love of service, we remember Hamdi Bozbag who we lost in 2012 with respect and gratitude.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our founder Hamdi Bozbag was one of the first students that Ataturk has sent abroad for education.
