    BARITE USE ACCORDING TO SECTORS

    PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS INDUSTRY

Worldwide used Barite’s 85-90% of it is used in petroleum industry. Especially, after 1926 Barite is started to be used highly in petroleum and natural gas searches. In world, barite is mostly used in petroleum drillings in order to make the mud heavier. This mud is actually very useful as in during the drilling it helps the residuals which are belong to the processed formations to reach top, oiling of the drills and rods, firming of the drilling hole walls and when the drilled oil becomes close to the expected levels balancing the pressured gas advancement. Drilling mud also provides balance against the rod’s increasing weight when the well gets deeper. Barite’s abilities of high weight density, soft and nonabrasive, being stable against high pressure and heat, not melting in water and be supplied with low cost makes it an ideal material for the drilling mud.

    PAINT & GLASS INDUSTRY

Barite is used in glass industry for increasing the brightness, production of lens and TV tubes.

Barite’s another application area is the paint industry. It’s used in oil paint production as whitener pigment and thinner.

    CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

Due to its high density, it’s used as weight increaser for underground pipes placement in construction industry.

Barite is also used highly in heavyweight concrete production due to its ability to absorb gamma beams in nuclear power plants.

    AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

Barite is used as filling material in automotive industry, rubber industry.

Also, Barite is used in the brake systems of vehicles.

    OTHER AREAS OF USAGE

Barite is used as additive in paper, canvas, oil cloth, rubber and ebonite industries.

It is also used in plastic industry for adding dimness to the plastics.

It is used as an insert material in pesticides production.

Barite is used in fireworks production due to its ability to give green color to the fire.

Airport tracks and high standard road covers are made with the mixture of grinded Barite and asphalt added synthetic rubber.

Due to its ability to make the X-Beams harmless, it’s used in radiography, and due to its ability to block the neutrons it’s used in nuclear reactors.

Barite also has an importance application in chemical industry. It’s used in processes such as Lithophone, Barium Hydroxide, Barium Cyanate, Barium Chromate, Barium Nitrate etc.

As for ceramic industry, it’s used as ceramic polish.

    WE OFFER FOUR DIFFERENT BARITE

TO OUR LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

Barite (Barium Sulphate, chemical formula BaSO4) is a mineral such that being produced since 1956, the establishment date of our company and its most important ability is its (4,0-4,2 g/cm3) density. We are giving service to our local and international customers with the ore we gain from both underground and above-ground mines by putting them into physical processes in our grinding facilities and producing in different specifications and sizes with different packaging alternatives. Beside its applications in petroleum and natural gas drillings, it’s used in automotive, paint and coating, glue, plastic, polyurethane industries.
